Youths of Da Nang police active in donating blood

PSNews - Over the last weekend, the Youth Union chapter of the Da Nang Municipal Police Department in collaboration with Da Nang Hospital and the City’s Youth Federation chapter organized the blood donation festival 2019.

The program, entitled "Donating blood to save people - a noble gesture", gathered over 400 youth union members and young police officers and soldiers of the city’s police.
At the event, 407 blood units were collected and transported to Da Nang Hospital for treatment of patients.
In 2018, the Youth Union chapter of the city’s police donated 376 blood units.
Many police officers and soldiers of the unit also voluntarily participated in emergency blood and platelets donation drives under the mobilization of the Living Blood Bank of the Da Nang Municipal Police Department's Youth Union chapter.
Through the festival, the Youth Union chapter contributed to promoting the humanitarian blood donation movement in the locality, and raising the volunteer spirit of young police officers, which helps beautify an image of the police officer with strong willpower, humanity and devotedness to the people.
