Hanoi National University commences a new application-based taxi and car service
PSNews - The Hanoi National University held a workshop on June 12 to introduce a brandnew application-based transportation service called EMDDI created by its scientists.
EMDDI is the first online application created by the Vietnamese that provides transportation services like Uber and Grab. People with smartphones can experience this service by installing the EMDDI application. In particular, people can still use the EMDDI service when internet/3G connection is temporarily or suddenly disconnected.
Currently, it is not very difficult to develop a software with functions similar to Uber or Grab. However, the scientists of the Hanoi National University decided to create a quite different application with preeminent features that can help handle millions of transactions at the same time.
As this application was made for the Vietnamese transportation market, it guides EMDDI drivers to transport their passengersto the exact ordered destinations, bringing comfort to both drivers and customers.
Earlier, the EMDDI service had officially been licensed by the Ministry of Transport to implement a pilot project in some localities, and the service has received positive feedbacks from customers.
