“Ta Quang Buu Award” granted to two outstanding scientists
PSNews-The Ministry of Science and Technology held a ceremony to present Ta Quang Buu Award 2017 on May 18.

Present at the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam; Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh; Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha and various scientists across the country.
This year, the organizers of the award received 30 entries. The Specialized Science Councils reviewed and nominated four outstanding works.
From the 4 nominations, the Ta Quang Buu Award 2017 Board has decided to grant the Ta Quang Buu Award to two scientists, namely Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Sum at Quy Nhon University (in the field of mathematics) and Professor Dr. Phan Thanh Son Nam at University of Technology, the Ho Chi Minh City National University (in the field of chemistry).
