Vietnamese students win International Design Awards recognition

This year, the prestigious International Design Awards presented prizes to two students from the field of graphics, Faculty of Industrial Arts, Van Lang University in Ho Chi Minh city.
The logo of fourth year student Vo Thi Phuong Thao was honoured with the bronze prize, and the logo of Tran Vu Nhan Thai earned the consolation prize of the graphics field, in the category for design students. Phuong Thao's logo is for Ot Hot Chilli sauce and Nhan Thai’s work is for Lagi Fish sauce. They are assumption brands.

This is the first group of graphic design students of Vietnam officially winning prizes from the professional International Design Awards. 

The bronze award of Phuong Thao is the highest graphic design prize any Vietnamese graphic design student has won since 1975. Phuong Thao's work was for a proposed franchise by a business at the price of the professional market. 

International Design Awards, based in Los Angeles, the US, is a prestigious international award of the top 15 international design competitions among nearly 100 annual design competitions in the world
