World’s most prestigious car brands join Vietnam Motor Show 2019
PSNews - The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association (VAMA) in collaboration with the Vehicles Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA) on October 23 kicked off the Vietnam Motor Show 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The five-day event features 15 renowned automobile brands such as Audi, Ford, Jaguar, Honda, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo , etc with 200 booths displaying products of the automobile support industry.
In particular, VinFast - a domestic car brand of Vietnam will showcase two of its models at the event- Lux SA/A and Fadil.
According to VAMA Chairman Toru Kinoshita, despite challenges, the Vietnam auto industry has recorded an annual average growth of 33%, with positive market signs boding well for producers by year’s end.
Therefore, the show aims to provide a platform for domestic consumers to enjoy the latest models of vehicles, equipped with the latest technologies from brands under the VAMA and the VIVA.
The annual event is also considered as a playground for automobiles manufacturers and importers in Vietnam. This year show is expected to attract some 200,000 visitors.
