Mobile Police Command receives “Hero of the People's Armed Forces” title for the second time

The award ceremony was chaired by Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, on the morning of April 14, and was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

At the ceremony, Commander of the Mobile Police Force Major General Le Ngoc Chau delivered a speech reviewing the 50-year heroic history of the Mobile Police Force.

Later, delegates observed a magnificient parade, martial arts performances and physical exercises, demonstrating the strength of the key revolutionary armed force in the cause of protecting security and order.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the Mobile Police Force for its great achievements and victories over the past 50 years, and congratulated the force on the noble award given to it by the Party and State.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated, experiencing various difficulties and hardships in building force, ensuring public order and safety, and safeguarding national security over the past 50 years, the force is now imbued with national heroic tradition, has iron will, great minds, rich working experience, excellent professional expertise, and steadfast loyalty to the Party, State and people.

With the spirit of "Wholeheartedly serve the country and the people", hundreds of mobile police officers have laid down their lives or been life-long wounded for the cause of protecting national security and ensuring public order and safety. The great contributions, and resilient and silent sacrifices of generations of mobile police officers are always remembered and deeply appreciated by our Party, State, and people.

“The heoric mobile police officers have beautified the noble symbol and glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces,” the Prime Minister concluded.
