Public Security University of Technology and Logistics plans to open Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy

PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To chaired a meeting with representatives from relevant agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security to evaluate a project to establish the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics, on February 22 in Hanoi.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing a draft project and related documents. 

Delegates totally agreed on the necessity of establishing the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics, saying that the establishment of the faculty will help train officers specializing in medicine and pharmacy, contributing to developing the public security medical and pharmaceutical sector as well as improving the quality of health care for public security officers.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics and involved units for their great effort in drafting the project to establish the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics.

He confirmed that the project to establish the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics has been basically agreed by the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also requested the Project Drafting Committee to carefully study ideas and opinions of delegates at the meeting to revise the draft project and related documents, and report the final draft to the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security before the deadline of March 15, 2024.
