Vietnam’s competent agencies and embassies in France, Morocco and Chile, Vietnam Airlines, and authorised agencies of the three host nations have coordinated to arrange a flight to repatriate close to 280 Vietnamese citizens on September 8 and 9.
Nearly 280 Vietnamese citizens, stranded in 10 European countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were brought home on September 16-17 on a Vietnam Airlines flight.
A total of 340 Vietnamese citizens from Canada were brought home safely on August 15 and 16.
Vietnam’s authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia, budget carrier Vietjet Air, and relevant Indonesian offices arranged a flight to bring more than 210 Vietnamese citizens home on July 29.
Relevant agencies of Vietnam, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, and the Vietnam Airlines on July 25 coordinated with Japan’s competent agencies to bring home more than 190 Vietnamese citizens from the country.
