The Vietnamese Embassies in India, the Philippines and Tanzania on August 14 held respect-paying ceremonies and opened books of condolences in commemoration of former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

Former Party General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Le Kha Phieu passed away in Hanoi on August 7 morning at the age of 89. However, his great mind, spirit and contribution will live forever with the country and Vietnamese people.
