The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security of China jointly organized the first Deputy Ministerial Dialogue on Political Security, on the afternoon of January 10, 2024, in Hanoi.

A high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, led by Minister of Public Security General To Lam, visited Italy from 17-19 July, at the invitation of Minister of the Interior of Italy Matteo Piantedosi.
