PSNews – Heavy rains and strong winds due to the atmospheric circulation of Storm No.2 have damaged hundreds of houses in Kien Giang and Hau Giang Provinces and Can Tho City. The police forces in storm-affected localities have made great efforts to support people to overcome consequences of the natural disasters.
PSNews – The Traffic Police Division under the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department has mobilized its police officers and soldiers to be on 24/24h duty and ensure road traffic safety in response to storm No.6.
PSNews - The Office of Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on August 14 sent a dispatch requiring all units to strictly respond to incoming Storm No.4 (Storm Bebinca).
The storm is expected to hit Vietnam on Tuesday, triggering heavy rains from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue provinces.
As one of the countries hardest hit by climate change, Vietnam has undertaken efforts to minimise risks from natural disasters and adapt to climate change, including issuing policies and developing infrastructure in recent years.
