Online book exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh opens

PSNews - The event showcases a total of 1,500 books, documents and photos featuring an overview of President Ho Chi Minh’s life, revolutionary career ideology, morals, and style at TrienlamsachHCM.Book365.vn.

The Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Party Center Committee Comisssion of Popularization and Education on May 19 opened an online book exhibition as a way of commemorating the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

The event showcases a total of 1,500 books, documents and photos featuring an overview of President Ho Chi Minh’s life, revolutionary career ideology, morals, and style at TrienlamsachHCM.Book365.vn.

The highlights are publications written and compiled by President Ho Chi Minh, such as Nhat Ky Trong Tu (Diary in Prison), a collection of 133 poems written in 1942 - 1943, and his testament in 1969; “Duong Kach Menh” (The Revolutionary Path), a book of lectures by Nguyen Ai Quoc at training courses for staff of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Youth League, held in Guangzhou, China, between 1925 and 1927, is also displayed.

Moreover, the exhibition also features plenty of documents that are related to the sentiments and gratitude that both Vietnamese people and international friends have towards President Ho Chi Minh, a much loved figure both at home and abroad. Videos, reportage and films on the Presidents are screened as well.

According to the organiser, the exhibition is expected to help educate youth about the country’s revolutionary traditions, patriotism and national pride.

The event lasts until May 30. After ending the exhibition, all digitalized publications and documents will be presented to the National Library of Vietnam.
