Son La police officer suffers serious injuries while chasing drug criminal

PSNews – Captain Nguyen Trung Dung at the Van Ho District Police Station in the northern province of Son La was shot while searching a local subject’s living place for drugs on February 12.

Captain Nguyen Trung Dung was in a life-threatening situation after he was shot. However, thanks to being taken to the hospital in time by his teammate, Dung has been save. He is now recovering well.
On February 13, the Youth Union and the Women's Union of the Son La Provincial Police Department visited Dung at the hospital .
The delegation also presented gifts worth 20 million VND, which was contributed by officers of the Youth Union and the Women's Union to Dung’s family.
