Thai Binh police urged to ensure security during Tet

The Thai Binh Provincial Police Department on January 10 held a ceremony to deploy forces to districts and communes of the province to ensure security and social order at the grassroots levels during the Lunar New Year holiday (Tet).

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

In his remarks, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Truong, Director of the Thai Binh Provincial Police Department asked the reinforcements to promote their key role in ensuring security and order at the grassroot level, closely coordinate with local authorities and other forces in promoting laws dissemination, preventing and fighting against crime, and maintaining social order and traffic safety.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam suggested that the Thai Binh police, particularly the reinforcements, should proactively implement drastically the working plans to fight against crime ensure absolute safety, security and social order during the Tet.
