The event that serves to combine traditional trade and e-commerce is expected to create a spillover effect and attract greater participation among a large number of enterprises across various aspects of the retail sector.

The campaign is set to present further opportunities in which enterprises can offer promotions of up to 100%.

Addressing the launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai noted through the response of localities, craft associations, businesses, and millions of local consumers, the plan can act as leverage to effectively stimulate consumption, and at the same time to facilitate goods circulation across the country.

It will also help enterprises to restore and boost production and contribute to the country’s economic recovery, he said.

The first Vietnam Grand Sale was held on July 1 to July 31, 2020, with around 27,450 products put on sale.
