Hanoi to host cutural activities around Hoan Kiem lake

• Vietnam strives to increase organic agricultural produce exports
• Nam O fish sauce making recognised as intangible cultural heritage
• Ca Mau’s traditional craft of making "ba khia" recognised as national cultural heritage

Visitors will also be able to sample local culture through a number of activities, such as UNESCO-recognised Gong performances from Dak Lak province. 

Specifically, an exhibition displaying images and paintings from the Embassy of the Netherlands will be held from November 20 to November 29.

In addition, there will be a culture and tourism show of Hung Yen province from November 27 to November 29 and a promotion of the culture and tourism of Bac Ninh province from December 4 to December 6.

The occasion will also feature a launch ceremony of the SEA Games 31, a food festival, a street art festival, a running competition, and a Countdown Party on New Year’s Eve.

Hoan Kiem District will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting the organisation of events in order to ensure safety and security in accordance with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
