“Get on Hanoi 2022” hot-air balloon festival enthralls visitors

Local residents and tourists enjoyed the chance to participate in the capital’s first-ever hot-air balloon festival which opened on March 25 with the theme of “Get on Hanoi 2022”.

Long Bien district’s longan garden hosts the hot-air balloon festival from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on March 25, March 26, and March 27.

The event is jointly organised by Hanoi’s tourism authority and the Chien Thang Company (VMG) as part of "Hanoi Tourism 2022" which aims to celebrate the reopening of tourism, thereby serving to welcome international tourists back to the capital.

A total of 22 enormous hot air balloons fly high in the sky at the festival.

Each person will have the opportunity to enjoy and admire the beauty of Hanoi from a bird’s-eye view for about seven minutes.

Visitors can also experience the inside of a hot air balloon. A multi-coloured hot air balloon placed on the ground is inflated to appear a giant house which can welcome visitors.

The event offers many unforgettable experiences for guests.
