Le Thi Huong Ly shines at Miss Tourism World 2022

PSNews - Recently, the organizing board of Miss Globe Vietnam 2022 announced that, Le Thi Huong Ly will represent Vietnam to vie for a Miss Tourism World 2022 title.

The beauty hailing from Hai Phong city was the first runner-up of Miss Globe Vietnam 2022. She is currently a student of Hai Phong University and is majoring in English - Japanese Pedagogy.

The organising board also announced the schedule of the competition. Accordingly, from November 17 to November 26, the 71 contestants will tour several tourist destinations around the country, including Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, and Bat Trang ceramic village in Hanoi.

They will also explore Trang An complex and Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh, the Hung Kings’ Temple in Phu Tho, Moc Chau Plateau in Son La, Truc Lam Zen Monastery and Tam Dao in Vinh Phuc.

The final round of the pageant is scheduled to run between November 27 and December 5, with the grand finale due to take place on December 3 in Vinh Phuc.

As reported, on November 17, beauties competing in the final round of the Miss Tourism World 2022 pageant impressed audiences while performing in brocade costumes during the Trang An heritage festival in Ninh Binh province.

The brocade costume collection, created by designer Thach Linh, draws inspiration from ethnic Vietnamese costumes using silk combined with unique motifs and other accessories, all of which have been meticulously made by hand.

The fashion show is the first activity of contestants of the Miss Tourism World pageant which is getting underway in Vietnam for the first time.

First launched in 1991, Miss Tourism World has grown to become one of the five largest beauty pageants in the world. The competition is also expected to help popularise tourism in the host nation.
