Medical teachers and students volunteer to help Binh Duong fight COVID-19

350 teachers, staffs and students of the Hanoi Medical University have volunteered to go to the COVID-19 hotspots of Binh Duong Province to assist the local fight against this pandemic.

In response to the Ministry of Health’s call for assistance for Binh Duong province to fight COVID-19, 350 students and lecturers from the Hanoi Medical University volunteered to help the locality.
Some students said that they had voluntarily registered to assist the anti-pandemic fight in Bac Giang but had not been selected. They feel very happy when being selected this time to join the mission.

At 11am, a group of 350 lecturers and students from the Hanoi Medical University arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Youth Union organization of Vietnam Airlines provided students of the Hanoi Medical University with great support and assistance. 
Vietnam Airlines Flight VN209 carries the 350 students and lecturers from the Hanoi Medical University.
Volunteers from Hanoi Medical University are ready to join hands with medical workers in COVID-19 prevention and control activities.
The volunteer students will work on different tasks such as conducting epidemiological investigation in isolation areas, giving support in blood tests for COVID-19.
The students have received training on inputting the data on COVID-19 cases and those who have had direct contact with the confirmed cases, conducting epidemiological investigations of those who have indirect contact with the confirmed cases.
