Locals apply pandemic counter measures at eateries in Hanoi

Residents are being urged to scan QR codes, complete healthcare declarations, and follow the Health Ministry’s 5K message at all eateries across the capital as part of the strict measures being implemented by Hanoi’s authorities to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The administration of the capital requests that food outlets obey COVID-19 prevention and control measures, whilst stating that firms must pause their operations if any eatery violate the rules.

A shipper scans a QR code before making a purchase in an eatery on Doi Can street in Ba Dinh district.

Shippers maintain a safe distance between each other as a means of curbing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Businesses have different QR codes, therefore serving for contact tracing if necessary.

QR codes are put up at places which are easy for customers to find so they can quickly scan the code.

Workers at eateries consecutively remind people of the necessity of scanning QR codes and following the Health Ministry’s 5K message.

A customer is guided to complete healthcare declarations in front of a beverage outlet in Ngoc Ha ward of Ba Dinh district.

Customers can use one of four applications, including Bluezone, NCOVI, VHD, and VneID for QR code scanning.
