Logo selected to mark Vietnam-RoK 30th diplomatic ties anniversary
The Republic of Korea's Embassy in Vietnam on January 17 introduced a design as the logo marking the 30th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-Republic of Korea diplomatic relations.
The logo, which has been chosen from 775 designs in a competition held from October to November, 2021. The winning logo is designed by Ngo Quang Trung, a student from the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
The design features the Vietnam’s Turtle Tower in Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi and the RoK’s Gwanghwamun – the main and largest gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, both are symbols of each country’s capital city.
This design also contains the national flags of the two countries within the number 30 representing their three-decade friendship.
Speaking at the January 17 announcement ceremony, Trung said he is happy and honored, and hoped it will contribute to fostering the bilateral ties in the future.
The two countries will mark their 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties with series of events throughout 2022.
