Lawmakers to discuss economic restructuring, national land use

 National Assembly (NA) deputies on October 25 entered the second working week of the 15th legislature’s 2nd session, considering many important issues, including plans for economic restructuring and land use.

This week,  the legislators will discuss 7 bills, namely the Law on the amendments and supplements to  a number of articles of the Criminal Procedure Code, the revised Law on Insurance Business, the Law on the amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Statistics, the Mobile Police Law, the Law on the amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Intellectual Property, the amended Law on Emulation and Commendation, the revised Law on Cinematography.

In addition, they will also discuss in groups 4 draft resolutions on a number of specific mechanisms and policies regarding the development of Hai Phong city, Thanh Hoa province, Nghe An province and Thua Thien Hue province.

The lawmakers will hold online discussions on the implementation social insurance policies, regimes, management and use of the Social Insurance Fund in 2020, the management and use of the Health Insurance Fund in 2020 and the implementation of Resolution No. 68 on promoting the implementation of policies and laws on health insurance, moving towards universal health insurance in two years, 2019 and 2020.

Furthermore the Government will submit an economic restructuring plan for the 2021-2025 period and a national land use plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 and a five-year land use plan (2021 - 2025).
