Internal Political Security Department reviews task performance in H1

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended a conference held by the Internal Political Security Department to review their task performance in the first half of 2021.

Over the past 6 months, the internal political security sector has successfully completed its missions, especially the task of protecting internal political security, contributing to the success of the 13th National Party Congress and the National Election Day.

Various officers and teams under the department were honored by the Ministry of Public Security while one officer was honored with the title “Emulation Soldier of the Public Security Forces,” for their great achievements.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang applauded the efforts and achievements gained by the department over the past time.

Regarding the whole internal political sector’s tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the sector to take concrete measures to ensure information security in the press and mass media.

The department was also urged to complete the “Strategy for building the internal political security sector by 2030, with a prospect for 2045”.
