Charitable mission of police presents gifts to disabled people in Da Nang

PSNews – A charitable mission of the Women’s Union chapter of the Professional Technical Service Department, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Department, and the Public Security University under the Ministry of Public Security on June 13 visited and presented gifts to disabled people in Da Nang City.

This program aimed at supporting workers affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, especially disabled workers; at the same time affirming the role of the public security forces as an iron shield in the prevention of the pandemic. 

Within the program, the charitable mission has provided students at the Red Cross Charity Career Center of Da Nang City with free health check-up and medicines. 

The mission also presented a water purifier, 42 packs of gifts and many daily meals with a total value of over 60 million VND to students at the center. 

The program is the results of the cooperation between the project "Caring through COVID" and the Women’s Union chapter of professional units under the Ministry of Public Security, in order to support students with disability in Da Nang City.
