The village is located near Vietnam – Laos border and far from the district’s center.  It is home to 516 households, in which 110 ones face various difficulties in life. The local police have no official headquarters in the village.

After the compounds for police in Kalo village, the Provincial Police Department of Thua Thien Hue will continue the construction of working facilities for the Lao police stationed in Se Sap village of Kaleum district, Sekong province and in Co Tai village, Sa Mouay district, Salavan province.
