Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc pays tribute to late MPS leaders
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025), Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Dang Hong Duc visited and offered incense at the homes of late leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on the afternoon of April 22, 2025.

During the visits, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc offered incense and paid respect to the late Deputy Ministers of Public Security Nguyen Quang Viet, Nguyen Tai, Hoang Thao and Tran Dong.
In conversations with the families of the late leaders, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc recalled memories of a heroic era when the entire nation united in the struggle for the noble cause of national liberation and reunification.
He expressed his profound appreciation the late MPS leaders for their invaluable contributions to the nation’s revolutionary cause and the development of the Public Security Forces.

Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc also hoped that the families would continue to uphold their proud revolutionary traditions and actively contribute to the current revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, as well as to the safeguarding of national security, social order and the building of a peaceful, prosperous and socialist Vietnam.
On this occasion, the families of the late MPS leaders expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry’s leadership and the entire Public Security Forces for their continuous care and concern.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to further promoting the family legacy and standing side by side with the Public Security Forces in their mission of protecting peace and happiness of the people.
