Leaders of DIC holds dialogue with youth union members

PSNews – The Youth Union organization of the Department for Information and Communications (DIC) under the Ministry of Public Security on March 25 held a dialogue between the department’s leaders and youth union members on the occasion of the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 65th traditional day of the Youth Union chapter of the Public Security Forces.

The event was organized on the occasion of the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 65th traditional day of the Youth Union chapter of the Public Security Forces.

The meeting created opportunities for youth union members to give their opinions and ideas to the DIC Party Committee and leaders about the Youth Union’s activities and movements while it also helped the DIC Party Committee and leaders learn more about the Youth Union chapter and young officers and workers at the department.

At the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh, Deputy Director of the DIC praised the achievements that the youth of the Department had achieved over the past time, and highly appreciated the idea of the Department's Youth Union on organizing the dialogue.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh affirmed that the youth, knowledge and experience make up the unique characteristics of the Youth Union organization of the DIC. She hoped that the youth union members of the department would further promote these virtues in performing their professional tasks and youth union activities.

At the dialogue, leaders of the DIC answered many questions raised by youth union members, including questions of how to actively participate in youth movements while well performing their political and professional tasks; the mechanism and policies to encourage youth union cadres to successfully fulfill their double duties; and orientations to further develop the youth union organization and build capacity of youth union cadres.
