Leaders of Hanoi Archdiocese visit Ministry of Public Security
PSNews - Archbishop of Hanoi Vu Van Thien and priests of the Archdiocese of Hanoi visited the Ministry of Public Security on the occasion of the 2023 Lunar New Year, on the afternoon of January 9, 2023. Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang welcomed the delegation on behalf of leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.
On behalf of all priests and followers of the Diocese of Hanoi, Archbishop of Hanoi Vu Van Thien wished the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security as well as all officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces a happy New Year, good health and success in ensuring security and order of the country in 2023.
In the warm atmosphere, Archbishop of the Hanoi Archdiocese Vu Van Thien highlighted some outstanding activities of the Archdiocese of Hanoi in the past year, highly appreciated the work of ensuring security and order of the People's Public Security Forces in 2022, and he expressed his delight at the contribution of the People's Public Security Forces to preserving and ensuring security and order of the country and creating favorable conditions for the Church's activities.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang thanked the Archbishop, priests and followers for their support for the People's Public Security Forces.
He affirmed that the religious communities, including the Catholic Church throughout the country contributed significantly to the achievements of the People's Public Security Forces in safeguarding national security and maintaining order and safety over the past time, and said that he hoped, dignitaries of the Archdiocese of Hanoi will encourage Catholics to strengthen the national unity bloc and implement the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, contributing to national defense and development of the Fatherland.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang sent his best wishes to all parishioners of the Archdiocese of Hanoi.
