The meeting also aimed to discuss the results of the 10-year implementation of Decree No. 59/2012/ND-CP dated July 23, 2012 regulating the supervision of the law enforcement in the People's Public Security Forces and gave a briefing on the basic contents of legal documents approved by the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

Deletates from the Ministry of Public Security and under-ministerial agencies directly attended the meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security while those from local units participated in the meeting via videoconferencing.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung awards Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security to units and officers for their outstanding achievements in the implementation of the project.

During the conference, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the legal education work in the People's Public Security Forces as well as discussed the role and orientation for building human resources in charge of legal education in the People's Public Security Forces, a plan to develop a mechanism to coordinate with other forces to educate laws with the People's Public Security Forces taking the lead in the process, and further strengthening the Law Education Coordination Councils at all levels in the People's Public Security Forces.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung suggested that, after thes conference, all public security agencies and units should check their human resources responsible for legal education and ensure that the in-charge officers have good qualifications. 

In addition, the Deputy Minister asked the Department of Legal and Administrative and Judicial Reforms and the Communications Department under the Ministry of Public Security to study and propose new, innovative and effective methods of educating laws, and draw plans to guide local-level units to carry out the work.
