Ministry of Public Security reviews finance, investment and logistics work in Q1

In Q1, all public security agencies and units of the finance, investment and logistics management sector, namely the Department of Planning and Finance; the Department of Construction and Barracks Management; the Department of Equipment and Logistics; the Department of Health; the Department of Logistics; first-class hospitals under the Ministry of Public Security, upheld their sense of responsibility and strictly adhered to the general work plan of the Ministry for 2025 while implementing their tasks of properly providing financial, logistic and medical services for the entire Public Security Forces.
Notably, in Q1, the public security units and agencies advised the Ministry of Public Security leadership to issue two circulars, and were assisting in drafting seven other circulars under the ministry’s program on issuance of official legal documents in 2025.
They also provided sufficient logistic and technical supports for other public security units and agencies at all levels to implement the plans to streamline their organizational apparatus, and took up the functions and tasks transferred from ministries and branches to the Ministry of Public Security. The under-ministerial agencies in charge of finance and investment closely coordinated with involved agencies and units to speed up the implementation of projects, especially key projects, while strictly adhering to the regulations and ensuring the quality and progress in line with the set plan.

First-class hospitals under the Ministry of Public Security provided good medical services for the Public Security Forces and people, and proactively sought to improve their capacity to treat more inpatients while the Department of Construction and Barracks Management well managed office buildings, land and barracks of all public security units and agencies, and invested in housing projects for officers and enlistees.
During the meeting, delegates also discussed issues related to finance, investment, logistics and healthcare for the People's Public Security Forces in Q1, frankly pointed out limitations in performing their tasks, and proposed solutions to successfully complete the work program in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc hailed the results achieved by the Department of Planning and Finance, the Department of Construction and Barracks Management, the Department of Equipment and Logistics, the Department of Health, the Department of Logistics and first-class hospitals under the Ministry of Public Security in the past time.
Regarding major tasks that need to be done in the coming time, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested that relevant units and agencies should step up the implementation of projects and the disbursement of project finance while earmarking sufficient efforts for the drafting of legal documents, digital transformation, reform of administrative procedures, as well as for maintaining "correct, sufficient, clean, and live" data.
In addition, the under-ministerial agencies should accelerate the process of streamlining their organizational structure and early complete their organization and personnel work while ensuring the smooth-running of all investment, logistic, financial and medical services throughout the Public Security Forces.
