On behalf of the Public Security Forces, Minister To Lam expressed sympathy for the losses and difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic that the authorities and people of Binh Duong have suffered. He also congratulated them on their success in basically controlling the disease.

According to General Lam, the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) has sent more than 2,000 policemen, medical staff and cadets of public security schools to Binh Duong to join the local efforts to fight COVID-19, gradually making Binh Duong a safe zone from the pandemic.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi thanked the MPS and the Public Security Forces for their timely support and aid to Binh Duong people during their anti-pandemic fight.

He praised the sense of responsibility, devotion and creativity of the police forces in performing their assigned tasks, saying that they contributed to helping the authorities and people of Binh Duong overcome the difficult period of time.

He hoped that the MPS leadership and the Public Security Forces will continue to coordinate with and support Binh Duong authorities and people in controlling the pandemic and gearing up local socio-economic recovery and development in the new normal.

For his part, Minister To Lam affirmed that the MPS will effectively apply scientific and technological advances and smartly employ the National Population Database to control the COVID-19 pandemic nationwide, and particularly support Binh Duong province to ensure social welfare and boost economic development.
