Nghe An province plans to promote “All people protect national security” in 35 communes and equivalents
Within the framework of a business trip to Nghe An province, on the afternoon of April 4, 2023, the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Member of the Party Central Committee, and Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung had a meeting with both civilian and police leaders of Nghe An province.

The meeting focused on implementing the project “Building the ward police post model in terms of security, order and urban civilization” and promoting the “All people protect national security” movement.
The meeting saw the presence of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Nghe An Thai Thanh Quy, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long, leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department.
Reports delivered by leaders of the local police read that, over the past years, the Nghe An Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee as well as Party committees and authorities at all levels directed local forces with the local police as the core to effectively implement the mission of ensuring security and order.
Nghe An province has planned to build 35 communes, wards, townships and 03 provincial-level agencies and enterprises as typical units and localities in terms of public order and security in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department will build 16 typical ward police posts as model of security, order and urban civilization.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy underscored that the Nghe An Provincial Police Department successfully completed the tasks of ensuring security and order in the province, contributing to creating favorable conditions for local socio-economic development.
In addition, following the Ministry of Public Security’s instructions, the Nghe An provincial police have just completed the construction of 2,520 houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in border districts of Nghe An province.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung highly appreciated the results achieved by the Nghe An provincial police in recent years.
After inspecting of the implementation of the project to build a typical ward police post model in terms of security, order and urban civilization in Truong Thi ward (Vinh city) and Cua Lo township, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung acknowledged that the Nghe An provincial police have had many innovations and breakthroughs in implementing the project.
The Deputy Minister also stated that the project serves as a premise for the building of the People's Public Security Forces as truly clean, regular, elite and modern forces.
