Police in Son La province basically reach 2022 working targets
A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Deputy Minister Major General Nguyen Van Long worked with the Son La Provincial Police Department to inspect the local police’s professional work in 2022, on November 8.
After inspections at police subunits under the Son La Provincial Police Department, the inspection team of the Ministry of Public Security had a meeting with leaders of the local police.
The inspection team recognized that the provincial police force had basically completed the targets and tasks assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, particularly maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and safeguarding national security, without being in a tactical surprise or disadvantage, contributing to local socio-economic development.
The police forces in Son La province also thoroughly grasped the situation, prevented and effectively fighting plots and activities by hostile forces.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long praised the work results that Son La provincial police forces have achieved in recent years.
He underlined that the local police should drastically fight crime of all kinds, particularly illicit drug trafficking, pay more attention to Party building and force building.
* On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long visited and gave gifts to the children being raised and cared for by the Son La Provincial Police Department under the Project "Adopted Children".
