Two Deputy Ministers of Public Security appointed

Major General Le Van Tuyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee, and Major General Nguyen Van Long, Director of the Police Department of Corruption, Smuggling and Economic Crimes, received decisions to be appointed as new Deputy Ministers of Public Security on January 17.

Under the authority of the Prime Minister, Minister To Lam hands the appointment decisions to Major General Le Van Tuyen and Major General Nguyen Van Long.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister General To Lam congratulated the two senior officers on their appointment.

Minister Lam hoped that the two newly-appointed Deputy Ministers in their new positions will have a high sense of responsibility for work and join other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to lead the Public Security Forces to more successes in protecting national security, maintaining socio-political stability and order, defending national independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, safeguarding the Party, State and people.

In their inaugural addresses, Deputy Ministers Le Van Tuyen and Nguyen Van Long promised to follow the fine traditions of the People's Public Security Forces, learn other leaders, and make contributions to building stronger Public Security Forces meeting the task requirements in the new situation.
