The University of Fire Prevention and Fighting held a ceremony on November 19 to celebrate its 45th  founding anniversary (1976 - 2021), receive the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order, and open the 2021 - 2022 school year.

Under the authority of the Party and State, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung hands the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order to the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting.

Major General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

In recognition of its great contributions to training personnel for the fire and rescue force and the country over the past 45 years, the Party and State awarded the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting a First-class Military Exploit Order, two Second-class Military Exploit Orders.

In the academic year 2020 - 2021, the university was presented by the Government with the Emulation Flag while two sub-units of the school were awarded the Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security.

On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security's leadership, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the achievements obtained by generations of leaders, lecturers, students and staff of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting over the past four and a half decades.

As the only higher education institution in the country that train firefighters, the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting was requested by the Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung to well perform its education and training tasks in the new period while paying the attention to improving its training programs and standardizing educational specialties in line with the new four-level apparatus of the Public Security Forces.
