A Japanese firm delegation led by Vice President of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) Tatsuhiro Shindo is paying a visit to Ho Chi Minh City to look for investment opportunities.

At a meeting on January 18 with the Japanese delegation, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem appreciated the delegation’s visit, adding that the city is ready to support Japanese enterprises in doing business in the city.

He pledged that the municipal authorities will always listen to foreign enterprises, including Japanese firms, in a bid to timely address their difficulties and create a healthy investment environment for international businesses.

Tatsuhiro Shindo thanked the municipal authorities for their assistance to the JETRO office in the city, thus facilitating the linkage of firms of the two countries.

He underlined Japanese firms’ interest in Ho Chi Minh City and neighbouring localities, and asked Ho Chi Minh City to continue supporting JETRO and Japanese firms in business and investment activities in the city, thus contributing to boost the Vietnam – Japan rapports on various areas.
