12 Oscar-nominated short animated films screened
PSNews- 12 short animated films nominated at the Oscar are screened in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from October 4 to 9.

The Embassy of France, the French Institute in Vietnam cooperated with Bonjour Saigon to introduce the 2017 Panam Anim Festival, an animated film festival organized in Vietnam for the first time.
In the framework of the film screenings, the audience will have an opportunity to meet and exchange with representatives of France’s ESMA (Ecole Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques) and experts from Vietnam in the field of 3D animation and effects.
The Festival Panam Anim Festival was founded by Pascal Chinarro (French producer) in 2013 in Paris.
This is a special event organized to honor the excellent creation of the schools specializing in audiovisual and animation. It is also an opportunity for talented young artists to exchange experience and develop their creativity and professional skills towards a beautiful future of the cinema.
France, home to over 80 schools in animation techniques, is now a leading country in Europe and the world in the field.
