Book "Wartime letters of the public security force" makes a debut in the public

The Public Security Publishing House in collaboration with the Public Security History Institute organized a ceremony to make public the book "Wartime letters of the public security force" on April 28.

This book has been published on the occasion of the 42th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam, the Unification of the country and the 20th anniversary of establishment of the Liaison Board of public security officers reinforced to the struggle against American invaders.
The ceremony drew the participations of leaders of public security departments, agencies, units, as well as other press agencies in Hanoi.
The book constitutes 113 letters by 37 authors – public security officers, with 320 pages. In addition, the book also includes a letter of President Ho Chi Minh sending to the Director of Police Zone XII on March 11, 1948 and a letter of the Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan sending to officers and soldiers in Tri-Thien-Hue, in May 1970.
The Compiling Board has received hundreds of letters from public security veterans and their relatives. They are all very meaningful and emotional.
Moreover, the Compiling Board also received a large contribution of valuable documents from Senior Colonel, writer Dang Vuong Hung.
