Book exhibition on 70 years of the National Resistance opened

PSNews - The Military Library in collaboration with the Public Security Library held a book exhibition on December 14th at 83 Ly Nam De street, Hanoi, in celebration of the 70th  National Resistance Day and the 72th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army.

The exhibition introduces 500 publications as books, newspapers and documents of various kinds, which have been collected by the Military Library and the Public Security Library over the past several decades.

The exhibition is organized into 5 themes: the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam ( currently known as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); directions of the Party on protecting the revolutionary government; the start of the National Resistance; developments of the resistance; 70 years of the National Resistance - Historical memories and lessons.

Those publications not only show great value of  the Call for National Resistance of President Ho Chi Minh, but also introduce historical experiences and lessons about patriotism and national will of independence, as well as aspirations of the Vietnamese people for peace. 

Via this exhibition, readers can understand contributions of the Army and the Public Security Forces in the national liberation struggles. The event is expected to arouse the pride of the nation and the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces among Vietnamese people, particularly the young.
