The exhibition themed "The Art of Nude Photography" will feature a number of exceptional art works by 10 Vietnamese photographers, including Thai Phien, Duong Quoc Dinh, DzungArt Nguyen, Le Quang Chau, Nguyen A, Dao Duc Hieu, Pho Ba Cuong, Tran Nhan Quyen, Ngo Xuan Phu and Do Thuy Mai.

This exhibition is considered an opportunity for visitors to enjoy and understand more about aesthetic and human values as well as to distinguish with offensive nude photos. Each photographer will be allowed to showcased 5-7 photos at the event.

Under the regulations of the Department Find Arts, Photography and Exhibition, written documents about the agreement of artists and their nude models for the work display at the exhibition are required to avoid possible legal lawsuits. The department will also check the model’s information very carefully.

This is a positive sign that the door might be opening wider for similar events to be permitted in Hanoi. Minors below the age of 18 will not be allowed to enter the exhibition.
