Hanoi, Hoi An among top 10 unmissable destinations in Asia

According to the list, Hanoi ranked second, with many voters praising the charming streets found throughout the capital’s Old Quarter, along with the rapid pace of modern developments.

“Lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas add to the appeal of this city, which is easily explored by taxi,” the article produced by TripAdvisor stated.

Elsewhere on the list, the ancient town of Hoi An secured fourth place.

“This city on the central Vietnamese coast is a well-preserved example of the important Southeast Asian trading port it was from the 15th to 19th centuries,” the website noted.

There were also suggestions that visitors should visit the town’s expert tailors in order to have bespoke clothing made for them in order to remember their trip.

Completing the top 10 list is Bangkok of Thailand, Siem Reap of Cambodia, Phuket of Thailand, New Delhi of India, Jaipur of India, Kathmandu of Nepal, and Beijing of China.
