Hanoi looks for friendship ambassador for peace

The Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) and its partners has launched a contest to select a friendship ambassador for peace.

This is an activity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the recognition of Hanoi as City for Peace by UNESCO and the 65th anniversary of the capital city Liberated from the French colonial regime.
The contest aims at promoting the spirit of solidarity and the friendship between Hanoians and international friends, contributing to promoting the image of Hanoi to the world.
40 females and 13 males have registered to participate in the contest, whose final round is expected to be held in mid-November 2019.
Contestants will have opportunity to show their presentation skills and knowledge, and make their contributions to promoting the image of the people of Vietnam in general and Hanoi City in particular.
After the launching ceremony, the contestants participated in several activities, including presenting gifts to needy people in Hanoi.
