Hanoi to offer free wifi at tourist attractions

Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung instructed the Department of Tourism to lead a new project to digitize tourism database and offer free wifi at tourist attractions in Hanoi.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Department of Tourism in collaboration with relevant departments, branches, sectors will implement tourism development solutions and diversify tourism development resources, developing tourism as a spearhead economic sector.
Hanoi will also invest in infrastructure and improve quality of tourism products based on Hanoi's valuable cultural heritages; intensify cooperation with domestic and international travel enterprises.
In addition, large scale domestic and international tourism fairs will be regularly held so that foreigners and Vietnamese people can have an easy access to sufficient and make appropriate choices.
Particularly, Hanoi is implementing iParking – a smart internet-based parking service, helping drivers quickly and easily find a suitable parking slot.
