Korean Day Festival in Quang Nam kicked off

PSNews – The event “Korean Day in Quang Nam” aimed to promote the understanding and strengthen the friendship between Quang Nam and Korean localities in the fields of diplomacy, culture, economy, tourism and education

The Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee announced that “Korean Day in Quang Nam” was kicked off on December 11 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam – Korea diplomatic ties and the ASEAN – Korea Cultural Exchange Year.

Within the framework of this event, many interesting programmes will take place until December 17 such as the Korean Film Days at the Cultural Center of Quang Nam and the exhibition of Korean people and culture, a student cultural exchange and community event at the murals village of Tam Thanh. 

Additionally, on this occasion, Quang Nam province and the Korean Culture Center in Vietnam will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on culture with the aim of promoting exchanges between Korean people and locals of the province in the coming years.

Representatives of new villages that have implemented the Korean Saemaul Udong model, or New Community Movement, will share their experiences in rural development with locals from Quang Nam province.

A business meeting and field trip for Korean investors will be held at the Chu Lai-Truong Hai Industrial Complex in Nui Thanh district and industrial zones the next day.
