Mu Cang Chai to organize tourism festival
PSNews-Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai) will organize a Cultural Tourism Week - a Festival to explore the national terraced fields with many cultural activities and tourist attractions with the theme “Golden waves on mountains”.

A variety of activities will be held during the festive week, including Goat Fighting; the 2
nd Hmong’s Khen Contest; Paragliding Festival themed “Flying above the Golden Season”, to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the launch of paragliding activities at the Khau Pha Pass; mountainous market; photo exhibition “Mu Cang Chai - tourism of features”; movie shows; mobile libraries to promote the tourism image of Yen Bai, history and culture features of ethnic groups in the district; and other community tourism activities.
In the past weeks, Mu Cang Chai town (Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai) was devastated by torrential rains and floods. In addition to large human and material losses, heavy rains and flash floods also destroyed many natural views and some tourism projects in this tourist town.
After the floods, Yen Bai province instructed related agencies to closely coordinate with Mu Cang Chai district in quickly handling environmental issues, restoring infrastructure to help local people stabilize their lives, and continue local economic activities, including tourism.
