Toyota Junior Football Camp 2018 kicks off in Da Nang
PSNews – The Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) officially kicked off the Toyota Junior Football Camp with its preliminary round on June 24, at Tuyen Son Sport Village, Da Nang. The first round drew the participation of hundreds of students (aged 9 – 12) who own passion for the King sport.

According to the organizing board, the event will be held with the support of Ministry of Education and Training. From June to September, the camp will be divided into three parts including: Part 1 - Preliminary Round in HCMC, Pleiku, Da Nang and Hanoi; Part 2 – Training Course for potential players; Part 3 – Friendship tournament in Japan.
This year, players will receive coaching from manager Le Huynh Duc and footballer Phan Thanh Bình, the two stars who are loved by national fans.
After the selection, the 18 best players will be selected to join the friendship tournament in Japan from September 13 to 20.
“We are glad the camp has become one of the most anticipated sports events for children in Vietnam. After three years, we received 8,000 children across the country attending the preliminary selection days. We also have three training camps in HCM City to train 90 potential players, and three tournament trips in Japan for 54 selected kids,” said Do Thu Hoang, deputy director of TMV.
He also announced that last year, junior team of Vietnam won the silver medal in Japan tournament and many of them continued pursuing professional football.
“ TMV hopes the camp will nuture a young generation of footballers for the futures, raising awareness of the need for a healthy body, soul and discipline”, Hoang shared.
