Vietnam Book Award 2016 held
PSNews – The Vietnam Publishers’ Association held the Vietnam Book Award 2016 on December 28th, in Hanoi. 90 publications and authors received awards on this occasion.

At the ceremony, the winners for books with good contents include the Vietnamese National Drug Formulary with “Duoc Thu Quoc Gia Viet Nam”; writer Vu Hanh with “Vu Hanh tuyen tap”; Bui Thien and Ha Ly with “ Performing rituals – Cultural heritage of the Muong ethnic minority”, and Vu Hung with a book collection for children.

In the best book layout category, the gold prizes went to “The Tale of Kieu” and “The Fairy Treasure of Vietnam” by the Youth Publishing House; “The Vietnamese Bronze Drums – Art and Historical Values” by the Ethnic Culture Publishing House; “ Life and Career of Anh Duc” by Ho Chi Minh City Culture and Art Publishing House.
The book by writer Phong Diep “Vuc gio”, which published by the Public Security Publishing House was presented a silver for the beautiful book and a silver for the good book.
In addition, the organizing board presented 17 silver, 16 consolation prizes to books with good contents, and 8 silver, 13 bronze, 15 consolation prizes to best design books as well as 3 awards for books with beautiful covers.
