Vietnam's Hue comes alive with colorful flowers and crowds

Flowers are indispensable for celebrating Tet (Lunar New Year) in Vietnam's former royal capital city of Hue as the festival marks the coming of spring.
Traditionally, Vietnamese people decorate their homes with flowers to make them look fresh and new for the New Year.
Ahead of Tet, markets supplying flowers and ornamental plants are set up in almost every locality in the country to meet the increasing demand. Uniquely, the flower markets can tell stories of Tet traditions themselves.
