Bac Ninh establishes 115 COVID-19 checkpoints

The Municipal People’s Committee of Bac Ninh ordered the establishment of 115 COVID-19 checkpoints around the city, starting from May 25.

Among the 115 checkpoints, one is located near the headquarters of the provincial military command and is run by inter-sectoral forces of the city. The remaining 114 checkpoints are guarded by ward level forces.
The checkpoints are in charge of supervising the observance of counter-pandemic regulations of passenger vehicles that are permitted to operate in the city and controlling people entering the city from pandemic-hit areas.Earlier, given the complicated situation of the pandemic, the city of Bac Ninh started to apply social distancing.
The municipal authorities warned the people against going out after 8 pm. Some exceptions include forces on duty, people taking emergency patients to hospital, or people working nightshifts.
