District officers punished for wrongdoings
PSNews- The Inspection Commission of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee has issued decisions to discipline Chau Van Lam, Member of the Standing Board of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Krong Nang district for leaking civil servant exam questions.

In addition to Luom, the Krong Nang District People's Committee also disciplined other local officials involved in the case: Mr. Cao Xuan Phu, Head of the Home Affairs Office, Vice Chairman of the Examination Council and Mr. Nguyen Van Hong, Deputy Head of Home Affairs office, who were under criticism by the District People's Committee; Mr. Mai Quoc Doanh, Head of the Office of Natural Resources and Environment was reprimanded and excluded from the the list of candidates for the district Party committee of the term 2020-2025; and Mr. Le Ngoc Sau, Deputy Head of Office of Economy and Infrastructure and Mr. Duong Ngoc Chinh, a member of the Home Affairs Office were transfered to other positions.
Earlier, on July 10, 2016, Krong Nang district held the examination for commune-level official candidates. According to the results of the exam, the Krong Nang District Examination Council selected 126 candidates and submitted the list to the Department of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.
After the results of the exam were made public, many commune-level contractors petitioned the district authority on the leak of the exam questions. The case was later investigated and clarified by the Krong Nang District Police Office and the Dak Lak Police Department.
